R. Ingham I've played this album a lot since first hearing Jemma & band live at The Lescar (in Sheffield) back in June. It is tricky music, well arranged and tightly played. Very impressive stuff, indeed. Favorite track: My Body Talks.

Tell me how to bleed I don't know who runs through me anymore Searching empty scenes Tell me how to break Follow every crack in the dam Melt me down and bring her to me Tell me how to live, tell me Tell me how to feel All I am are leftovers Everything falls into the pit beside me Tell me how to grieve Nothing's letting go inside me I wanna be okay Tell me how to live again Tell me how to live, tell me Tell me how to live again Fragile in the dark I'm invisible Leave me in the car to cry again

How did this all start One single explosion To tear us all apart I can't remember what it feels like To be whole again Living off tangents now Spare parts and pieces Carving our own differences How did this all start Where do our troubles come from Were they taught to us Were the flaws born within us If we could rewind Can we forget the bad ones Erase them from our minds Would we forget our own existence Watch it over that one mistake Over, over, over, over Could we start again Or will they find a way Back into our lives Is this all an experiment Were we meant to be Looking for something else

Day dum da day dum da day dum da day Day dum da day dum da day dum da day Your words were fire Made gaps in my body Trapped behind glass I became a museum You were the backdrop of my subconscious Now you're no longer bigger than your name You're just a number now hell is falling Brick by brick I walk out between the cracks I'm beginning I can't help but look back Shards of your words turning to sand Time slowed and all detail exposed You are crumbling for good I can see into another world All your projections start falling like mountains They were the pillars that propped me up The more I saw the more I wanted more Dee dee dee da da Dee dee dee day Dee dee da da Dee dee da da da day Da da da da da Dee dee da day dee dee da deur doo De de de de day De de de de day day da da dum Dum da dor day Dee dee dee dee day Dee dee dee dee da deuh doo Dum da dor day Dum da dum da dum da de de day De de de de de de de dum (doo) I am free like a fish from a net I cannot bleed my pain can't leave yet My legs feel new like they've never been used I don't have to be what you built me I am free I can love myself When I cry when I forget what I look like Live like nobody's watching me now Now I'm beginning

Wonder Why I feel amazing When I am crazy Frantic worshipping To find anything In the reflection Digging up demons My unforgivable diamonds What's the difference anyway Empty emptier too late I was never safe anywhere Everybody has a script Telling them what to think Teardrop On the watershed Which way will I fall Swaying 'til I belong And I'm lathered In fake armour Chasing those soft spots But they are just weapons again What's the difference anyway Empty emptier too late I was never safe anywhere I will see that all along life is the escape I was looking for Fear it likes when I'm there, somebody there Fear it likes when I'm there, holding me bare Fear it likes when I'm there, another body to share Fear it likes when I'm there, holding something so bare Fear it likes when I'm there, someone to keep it alive Fear it likes when I'm there, feeding off my inside Fear it likes when I'm there, it knows that I'm scared Fear it likes when I'm there, living in me somewhere Fear it likes when I'm there, but deep down it is scared Fear it likes when I'm there, follows me everywhere Fear it likes when I'm there, nowhere else to go Fear it likes when I'm there, doesn't like being alone
